SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
• Jean Pronovost records a point in 16 consecutive games from November 1 through December 3.

• Penguins reel off an 11-game unbeaten streak (7-0-4) from February 7 through February 28.

• Penguins set club records with 339 goals for and 303 goals against.

• Ken Schinkel returns as the head coach on January 17.

• On March 24 Jean Pronovost becomes the first Penguins' player to score 50 goals.

• The first player to record 100 points, Pierre Larouche, finishes fifth in the league scoring race with 53 goals and 58 assists for 111 points, a Penguins single-season record.

• Jean Pronovost finishes eighth (52-52-104) and Syl Apps finishes 10th (32-67-99) in league scoring, the first time three Penguins have finished in the top 10.
